Martinez has told them to play out the back, to keep the ball, not to hoof it out. So on both occasions, why does the keeper or any other player show for him?

Howard is stuck in his 6 yard box. Sees Stones hasn't got a pass, hasn't hoofed it, and he's still stuck in that 6 yard box. He did the same against Spurs.

When the style of the team is there for them to carry out, the players should all do. Stones is just doing what he's told to do. All Howard has to do is show for the ball, step a yard or 2 for the pass, and kick it.

I agree with you but that's down to the manager to sort out. If he thinks the goalkeeper isn't up to playing that type of game then he needs to change him.

i do feel sorry for him. He pisses me off so so much, but he's clearly shot as a keeper, no way should he be under continual spotlight in the premier league every week. He's not exactly going to retire whilst being on such a big wage, is he?

I actually think that up to the World Cup he'd been a really good goalkeeper for us. An excellent signing. But he's totally ruined his reputation by now.

It's a shame, but you just can't have a goalkeeper who is derided by the fans to this extent.

Moyes' last season he was an absolute abortion of a goalkeeper, and he has been ever since

I hate him more and more each week, I can't look at him without my blood boiling.

It's unhealthy and I need to pack it in, I'd never abuse him while he's playing like but if I seen him in the street I'd probably shout knobhead... From far away enough he can't see me cos he's massive!
