Tim Howard

Saw it posted on fb or Twitter that it's in his contract that he has to start league games when fit. Doubt very much it's true but made me chuckle

I was always mystified by DM continually picking Neville and then saying that he had played well when he had been utter
poo and now RM is repeating the trick with Howard.

Looking back I guess the final against Chelsea is as good as anywhere to mark Howard's decline. But surely the Palace game at home last season was his worst?

I don't suppose TH reads forums, and although I think his time's up I don't think he deserves the personal bullocking he's
getting here. He's a long serving player at the club and should be respected for it.

Behave. Respected for picking up £50k a week under false pretences? If we did banners we should do a big one for him advertising cheap one way flights to the States.

and lets be honest at his very best for us he was no more than a decent keeper, never ever stood out as one of the better players in the team, there is a very good reason that ferguson shipped him off - he was never good enough even at his peak for any team with title/CL hopes
I agree and don't know if you saw the League cup highlights before the game kicked off on Wednesday night but I'd forgotten how he stayed on his line for the Wright-Philips winner in the semi final against Chelsea. It was very poor keeping!
