Personally i want better than Marshall. He's hardly set the world alight since his great season in the League with Cardiff. Much rather play Joel than buy Marshall. Marshall is an 'okay' keeper, we wont go far with an 'okay' goalkeeper.

Same here mate but he won't play Robles so I would rather we brought any other keeper in. Not bothered who, just someone else to get that idiot off the pitch.

You can't set the world alight in the Championship, like...

But by all accounts he's been excellent for them.

If he doesn't play perfect by everyone's standards and make 2 worldie saves, then the default from the haters is that he was gash. He didn't deal well with the free kick into the box he missed. Could have been costly but it wasn't. Outside of that he was fine. Adequate performance it was. We still need a new keeper but the haters thinking there's no middle ground between gash and perfect is annoying. 6 out of 10 today for Tim. Everyone should just move along.

To be fair some of us "Mericans" as you so elegantly put don't rate him anymore either. However, the abuse and some criticism is over the top. Don't think speaking in absolutes like that is accurate either.

Appalling embarrassment of a goalkeeper nowadays. What was that attempt of punching the cross from their free kick? Christ, praying Robles plays out of his skin in the cups to make him undroppable. That said, the joke of a manager we have would probably slot Howard straight back in anyway.

Would be amazed if we signed him...think that ship sailed last year and if we wanted him would have signed him in the summer. Think we have our sights set far higher.
