Tim Howard

damn forty pages over one match.

He's been crap for the last three or four years. Teams aren't even bothered to try anything new anymore - just put it in the six yard box and get a head on it.

How Martinez deals with the problem that is Howard, will tell me a lot about Martinez
I said last March time if he's in goal in August I would lose a lot of faith in Martinez

I'm still behind him for now though
I think he will be great for the young players coming through and I hope he's s manager that will learn from mistakes and be ruthless

Let's hope he's finally seeing what most of us have for a few years

Once again it's all down to the manager...
Taliban Tim has been a liability for the last few seasons.
Incidentally, how well are West Ham doing, following the appointment of Bilic..(the guy A few of us wanted as our manager).
Tbf after his first few months at Tottenham and Villa everyone was praising Tim Sherwood and look how that worked out both times, I'll wait a bit longer before judging. Fair play in signing Payet though, great buy.

The way he brought Howard straight back into the side last year after Joel had had a very decent run (and Howard had been crap leading up to the injury as well) told me all I need to know about Martinez when it comes issues like this, he has players he will absolutely refuse to leave out if they're fit and Howard is one of them.

I honestly thought Leicester at home last season was his "Neville against Wigan" game where his performance was that appalling that no manager in their right mind would ever dare play him for this club again. Evidently not. The egotistical diva is sadly going to be around for a while longer yet and we will continue to lose vital points in vital games because of it. Martinez deserves just as much criticism for refusing to get rid of the bloody clown.

Stephen you love making predictions from the present back to the past don't you.

Obviously it's been back to the future week but are you going to predict anything now for the future ahead of us?
