Directly responsible for both their goals. If we lose he will probably be solely to blame. Really poor stuff. We looked fairly good until their goals. Fuming so bad at him.

Even if we turn this around its no excuse. And that will be a hard task now!

Carlo Nash did better for Everton.

I think howard is actually getting worse.
I have never seen a keeper so scared as he is.

Shocking today, all over the place and completely incapable of commanding his 6 yard box.

Didn't come for the first one when he should have.

Came for the second when he shouldn't and got nowhere near.

But that wasn't the end of the clown show.

Late in the second half when the ball is in the air for about 5 mins he comes for it and gets nowhere near, luckily their guy didn't get it on target.

Then when we get a goal kick in injury time and he kicks it out for a throw in.

He's totally lost it now.

Still makes good saves during the course of the game but is failing in the basics almost every game now which costs us.

lets have another poll Doug - no dont bother we know now he has problems the same as the Ings goal in the Derby - no Barkley to blame for then two just whipped in balls into his six yard box bread and butter balls for any Keeper who is no scared!"
how can you blame the defenders Doug he is 6 ft 2 inches high with his arms make that 7 ft and he shys away or comes out and stops the sign of a COWARD!

Martinez spoke about him in the post match interview: “I think we can defend better. A goalkeeper with the experience Tim has will be disappointed with that.”

Absolute waste of space. He should have been dropped about a year ago. Shockingly bad management from Martinez.

I'm struggling to think of a keeper with so little presence as Howard currently.

Could cost Bobby his job in the long run.

Bobby needs credit in the bank to win over some parts of the crowd. The longer he persists with Howard the bigger chance of crowd never liking him.

Timmy is clearly on the decline and didn't have a great one today, but he's been marginally better this year than last. GK is certainly an area we need to upgrade in January and/or over the summer.

as for the RObles "3 clean sheets" brigade, those three matches saw very little from us offensively as we played in a style to protect him. He's been awful in the other matches he's played and although TH is not great, I"ve seen enough of RObles to keep TH in there until we get the much needed upgrade. No reason to change just for the sake of changing.

Robles need to play well on Tuesday night now and make the case for him to be number 1 undeniable. If he fails to grasp his chance then we have to make buying a new goalie in January a matter of the highest priority.
