They had a decent backup keeper though, we have Robles.

To be fair nobody really knew is Pantilimon was any good until hart was dropped for a run of games, although costel did well in the tyne-wear derby yesterday i still wouldnt say he is decent or not until he has had a full season, Joel may be shakey but i dont like to write him off yet because he done well at wigan. Joel knows he could play a cracking game one match and be dropped the next. (unfortunately he hasnt had this cracking game yet for us). Im not even sure what my point was now.....

You agree with my mighty morphin power rangers idea.

Only if they are the original cast, i havent seen the new ones but im sure they are not as good.

If your idea has anything to do with the pink ranger im all for it.....

Southall best, then Martyn, then Howard for me.

Or Joel. Mucha wasn't even a real premierleague GK.

MUch improved.
Credit Inaki Bergara.

Chris Woods is seven shades of useless. Still, part of the dream team at OT lol

Tim is an outstanding keeper. Glad and really appreciated to have him as our first choice keeper, with years to come.

some might say he is the best keeper in the world atm.

Best goalie we have had since Big Nev IMO....................yes better than Nigel Martin.

Couldn't agree more !!

A truly excellent goalie

Just an Opinion and mine is Howard is better than Martin. Nothing preposterous about it.
Howard was more athletic and agile and recovered quicker. Martin was a good shop stopper unless they were aimed across him (that was a glaring weakness of his). Not much in it but Howard for me.

I also think Tim is our best keeper since Big Nev.

Might run on the pitch during the first game at Goodison next year and lick him after that. Absolutely amazing, probably the best performance of his career, shame he had to be on the losing side.

Shame it wasn't for us :)

But in fairness he was awesome all of last season. He made us proud tonight.

Hmmm but no one will EVER be as good Neville southall.

Howard is the best we'v had since. Baring 1 ropy season he had!

Top keeper, and those that are quick to pan him after a mistake mustn't watch much football as every keeper makes them. Tim makes far fewer than most.

Anybody else think our new GK coach deserves a lot of credit? It was only 18 months ago most of us here wanted Tim out and he was doing gash star jumps instead of saves.

Last season under our new coaching team was IMO his best yet and now he's set a new record at the a World Cup!

Well in Tim and team!

what's this? some sort of botched vaulting thing because i think he was better than richard wright and ian turner, yet not Martyn and Southall (our only decent keepers? post southall)

right okay

Yea and?

I'm glad that's the best vault you can find :-)

Even the shame it wasn't for us and but in fairness comments showed I'm not his biggest fan.

He's not horrible but he's always had howlers in him.
