He was brilliant last year, been poor this year. The thing that makes me think that it wont turn around is the sheer frequency of his mistakes and brain farts

I'm very patriotic, not sure what opinion its clouding though. He should be dropped and ive not stated anything different since Hull. His form doesnt alter how wrong you have been about his previous years either.
I honestly don't believe I have been wrong, he's had 1 decent season since he's been here.

I decent season! There was a period of around 08/09 were he continually equalled or broke our clubs clean sheet record, a record previously held by the our last great team and probably last world class player.

You don't do that if you're not a good keeper.

I'm not arsed about stats. I can see with my own eyes that he's costing us points with his ridiculous clangers. That Palace game, when the ball seemingly went through his hand and landed on Fraizer Campbell's head, I had to go and wash my eyes with bleach when I got home

Mate do you go the game.

Been a season ticket holder since long before Howard got here and he's had about two good seasons in seven years.

He is bang average and we won't win anything with him in goal.

Yes I do, but it wouldn't matter if I didn't because there's plenty of ways available now to never miss a minute.

Your talking rubbish if you claim he's only had two good seasons.

Part of a goalkeepers job is to organise and positioned the defence, neither Jags or Lescott are particularly demonstrative and Howard's communication helped that partnership considerably.
Part of a goalkeepers job, i'd say a pretty big one. Is to stop goals going in, Howards having a bit of trouble with doing that.

He is bang average, as for organising, behave he is one of the quietest goalkeepers in the premier league.

Lescott and Jags organised themselves.

His main job is stopping shots, and although he has some good games at doing that (very few and far between) he has trouble with simple shots and any striker who has half a second to think, scores past him.

Of course part of a keepers job is to prevent goals Aaron, that's why I said he can't have possibly only had one good season as he's broke and equalled our club record for keeping the most clean sheets.
