For all the talk of us needing a centre half or a winger, I think our priority should be a new goalie. Howard has cost us so many points. The wall was poor today, but Howard was so far over, he got nowhere near it. The same goes for the Gerrard goal in the derby. He also cost us at home vs Palace, just off the top of my head this season. We need to be ruthless and get rid of the deadwood. I don't feel confident in Howard at all, and I feel we should go in the market for a new keeper.

I've never felt confident in Howard he's nearly as bad as Paul Gerrard !!!!!!!!!.

I knew it was going in as soon as I saw where he positioned the wall and took his stance on the line. He knew Larsson was taking it, there was only one place it was going and he might as well have pointed a massive arrow at the space. Same with the Derby.

TBH, that's what you do to my hair at times man...stop it.

I want to think i'm not being kneejerk here, but he's just been a liability this season.

His poor positioning for the free kick on Sunday, which incidentally, all the fans could notice, so why couldn't the pro? added to the Gerrard free kick at Anfield, has cost us 4 points this season. Likewise, had the referee have decided to brandish a red for the malarkey around the box yesterday, we'd have been in real big trouble.

Great servant, but the WC is over now pal, you've got to knuckle down, and focus.

He set the wall up fine the problem was Barkley pulling his head away and the ball going through and area he'd covered with the wall. Clearly not his fault if someone else isn't doing their job properly and he takes no blame for that goal.

Also there's no way an obstruction outside the area ever results in a red card, yellow and an an indirect freekick but never a red. It was a cock up no doubt but his quick thinking got him out of it and inept reffing saved him a booking.

Hasnt half been ropey this season, cost us so many points.

Think if the moneys there for a new stopper and an Mls club would be willing to give us some wedge for him, get rid in the summer.
