its funny because people saying he isnt playing well yet on thursday he was playing a blinder.

his only good game of the season tbh.

can someone provide me with stats of how many shots he's actually saved this season, apart from the wolfsberg game? i know it's not all his fault, but he's let in about 80% of shots on target this season i feel.

If howards form continues, hopefully roberto shows the same ruthlessness he did to al al habsi and make the change and give joel his chance

Never rated Howard from day one when we signed him a mate(man utd fan) said he doesn't command his box and gets beat to often from distance. Which you look at his 1st 5 yrs how often teams scored against us from 25yars out
To be fair I will hold my hands up and say he was very good last season but not brilliant maybe he looked good because he didn't make that many mistakes like he normally does
He must cost us 10 gaols a season
Also people on here blaming defenders is ridiculous ok we are defending poor but the palace cross was scandulas maybe now we know why he's reluctant to come and is always rooted to his line or when he does come out he does that ridiculous star jump ie Newcastle 2yrs ago and ba just rolled the ball underneath him
Look how often he's rooted to his line john terry last yr Norwich twice the season before and I'm sure there's plenty of other examples.
Even this season Leicester 2 goal he's already on the way down before the player kicks the ball rameries Chelsea's 5thhes on the floor before he's kicked it and makes it so easy for rameries to chip him
What really annoys me about him is hes hardly ever in 8yrs made great saves late on in games to win US points that separates great keepers
It's no good making saves when your 3-0 up or 4-0 down ie Liverpool last year when he made a couple of decent saves
Great keepers win you trophy's good/average keepers win you nothing
