stopped reading after the first sentence. he kept three clean sheets and didn't concede goals where we were asking questions. you're nit picking, the ball didn't end in the net whereas it does on a regular occurance with howard in goal.
stones didn't look nervy with robles in goal, he now does and our watertight centre back partnership is leaking again, like it has all season with howard standing between the sticks. i literally have no idea how you can defend him.
Let's not pretened that even during those clean sheets Robles was impervious, against Palace for instance he had 2 cleared off the line after mistakes he'd made, in the derby Sterling should have done much better after a copycat incident of the Krasnodor goal and WBA came to Goodison with no intent of moving in front of their half or attempting to score.
Again he's getting the blame for another defeat that wasn't his fault, when he's been bad this season like Leicester he's been very bad. But be fair with apportioning blame because otherwise it just looks like scapegoating from people with a long standing agenda.
How can you give a response and say I "stopped reading after the first sentence" and then go on to write a 30/40 word reply about something you never read?
I'm not blaming him for tonight mate. He played well and nothing he could do for either goal. But Robles didn't do anything with that Sterling chance you mentioned, he stood up and learned his lesson from the Krasnodar game. Only because Howard has been shyte it's not worth trying to pick faults out of Robles as you know deep down that Joel shouldn't have lost his place.
I don't blame Howard, I blame the manager who thinks he's worthy of an instant recall.
Did his usual flop backwards & arms flail for the Arnautovic shot off the post in lead up to the 2nd goal.
dougies not american is he
Macca I know you're a very balanced and reasonable poster, one of best in my opinion, but you should watch that incident again. He comes running out, loses his bearings and then quickly retreats towards the near post leaving a huge target to his right. Luckily Sterling isn't lethal or composed, but if it was Sturridge or Balotelli that's a goal.
Howards being picked over him for a reason, regardless of what people think of him.
could have done better for both but wasn't fully to blame, especially for the first one.No, been a few times.
Do,you think he wad to blame tonight Aaron?
did the ball go in the net?
like gerrard's tame free kick did? or the time it hit frazer campbell on the back of the head? or the time howard kept the ball in play at OT?
Jack I'll keep it short, there's no point responding to you because you only read the first sentence.
