Best thing I can say about him is, he wasn't the worst keeper I've seen at Everton.

Interesting that Rooney taps the sign when playing for United.
He was good at the time....I'm just happy we had him. He was a fine purchase, a fine goalkeeper and an excellent servant. I'll always remember him fondly.
He was good at the time.
I was there when he scored too. Right behind him in fact.
We did.We still lost though.
He was actually never that good really was he. A decent mid-level keeper at his peak.
So was I, just the worst of everton nights that, everton at their moyesiestHe was good at the time.

It's a shame Martinez hung him out to dry and ruined his relationship with some of the Goodison faithful.Sorry for new thread but the Howard thread was locked.
Thought this was an interesting little insight in to his thinking

FWIW He was past his prime when he finished with us, it's just a shame he had Martinez's defense infront of him. No one deserves that!
He can take his horrible little Manc Judas fingers and shove em up his arse!!!Interesting that Rooney taps the sign when playing for United.
