Tim Howard and Goodison

It wasn't Howard's fault he was picked for the last 18 months, despite being well past his best. This 'soured' his relationship with the fans, when in all truth, it was Martinez's fault in picking him. I'd like to remember Howard as the competent keeper (nothing more) that he was for the majority of his time here.
 
...I'm just happy we had him. He was a fine purchase, a fine goalkeeper and an excellent servant. I'll always remember him fondly.
He was good at the time.

I was there when he scored too. Right behind him in fact.
 


His last season tarnished his Everton career but he was without a doubt a very good keeper at his best but he wasn't helped by the decline of our defence under Martinez.
