He was our hero, the same way big dunc was, he came along at the right time and dunc passed the mantle to him.

Disagree that he left too early, I think injuries caught up with him in the end. The premier league was probably too much by then, he's prolonged his career by playing in the MLS, good on him.

And what is more, he's an Evertonian.

A great player, he left at the right time.

Didn't stay and become garbage.
 

I watched that segment myself, the man just oozes class. He had the loyalty and fight to be fitting of wearing the Everton shirt. If Eto'o does leave then i would loan Tim during the off season, he would pick the players up and help fight our way out of this slump.
 
Would love to see him back in some role when he hangs up his boots. Agree with most others in saying that he didn't get the send off he deserved.
