brilliant- i imagine he had plenty to say about everton?
He did. And the interviewer is a Blue. Cahill showed a real empathy with Evertonians.

I thought the best piece was when he spoke of the European games and the bonding they created amongst the team and between the players and supporters. Too right. Let's hear no more from anyone saying they hope we don't qualify for the EL.

Played like one of us would, wore OUR shirt like one of us, gave his all like one of us.. Tim Cahill will always be ONE OF US..

.....I'm fortunate enough to have witnessed many great Everton players. Cahill deserves all the plaudits he gets, unbelievable commitment to the cause and a modern day favourite of mine.

while we had that nodding apologist as a captain, always got the impression Tim was a proper leader, wasn't scared of anyone and gave his all to win

You say that but, him and Cahill were/are best mates.

Cahill was a great talismanic figure, not a captain for me though.

My fave all time Everton player. Will take some beating replacing him on top of that list. I simply adore the man. If he scores the winner against 'Oranje' coming world cup, I'll be celebrating.

He did. Towards the final third of the podcast. Youtubified.

"We love all of our guests. But we don't think we have ever interviewed anyone who has made Rog cry like Tim Cahill. What a beautiful human being. An interview to be savored from this week's pod. United fans might want to skip the 12 minutes of their autopsy."
