Tim Cahill taking the piss?

Last season Sam Allardyce singled out Cahill for his clever work in the box to ensure he got on the end of set pieces.

"It is a compliment when the opposition manager speaks about you and I have respect for that manager," explained the midfielder.

"He has done well in the game and you can see what he has brought to every club he's been at. He is regarded as a big figure in the game so it is a compliment when he speaks about me."

Can't knock a good sense of humour (y)

How many midfielders have more goals than he does over the past 5 years (and he's been injured quite a bit as well)? Lampard, Gerrard, Ronaldo and maybe Fabergas. That's pretty good company. How many game winners is that for him as well now?
