Largley agree with that, although there's some interesting ones. A 7 at Villa? We lost, like... and no one deserves a 10 this season. But yes, otherwise you're pretty spot on there.

Well you don't always get what you deserve:
3 Arsenal (we were so-so they were better)
5 Stoke (won but we weren't very good were we?)
7 Villa (we played fine - you can't always get what you deserve - after all compare it with the Wigan, West Ham draws and other losses - acceptable against Arsenal - not at all against Blackburn, WBA and Newcastle (especially at home)...we'll play a lot worse and win is my point.

We weren't robbed in that Villa game mate. No wrong pen or goal disallowing decisions.

Their keeper kept them in it, really. Which is the exact same thing Howard did for us against city. Ergo, Villa played really well by digging deep and defending like their lives depended on it. We couldn't break them down, so we didn't really play that well. We dominated, but possession is irrelevant when it comes to points.

It was about as well as you could play and still lose, don't get me wrong, but it was not a good performance as we didn't score or take any points! :P

We also drew against Brum and Stoke tho mate, was 5 wins 5 draws in our last ten. It's more the teams we draw against - they're all [Poor language removed]. I'd rather lose against the better teams and then beat all the dross than the other way around, gets you more points.
It's funny. I remember that run of games and thinking at the time how, not so long ago, people (toffeeweb) were complaining that we needed to beat the 'big' teams to make the step up. not just the shoite ones.
As you say, we got more points the other way round.

Lots of stories handing out mid-term grades of late, here's ours from Martin Rogers covering soccer for Yahoo Sports:

8. Everton: C

Everton could use Landon Donovan more than ever but won’t have the American forward to call upon this winter after he opted to rest in sunny California instead. David Moyes’ side has suffered from a lack of firepower in attack, resulting in dismal home form (just two wins from nine games at Goodison). A decent level of overall talent hasn’t translated into points, and there are signs of a lost campaign.

To make you feel better:
6. Liverpool: D

Months of misery have put Roy Hodgson’s job in severe doubt. If you wondered just how bad things were, consider this: Many fans want Rafael Benitez back in charge. Uncertainty over the club’s ownership situation created turmoil and eventually ended with John W. Henry’s takeover, but Hodgson’s squad has still turned in some dire performances. A resurgence in the season’s second half would only mask some deep-rooted problems.

Yeah I agree that looks good Cali but I'd be happier if we'd been given an A !! It would mean we'd been winning matches !!

Yep - one of those games we ought to get 3 points could well get one - and heaven forbid could lose. Same could be said for the RS.. so it might be a great day :)
