THT's Half Time Report !!

Lots of good insight and analysis on the Everton season at the halfway point. Nothing really to add.


Except this season just seems kind of weird. And there's a half-season to go and it's there for the taking. I've gotta believe Everton will rise to the occasion. It's what makes them Everton. Players and management just need to wake up and play with spirit. They have the quality.

Okay. Been sitting on posting a response to the THT's Halftime Report. Wasn't sure what I could add to a well put together piece. I can say this: Everton finding the back of the net is like finding salvation in a whore house. It ain't happening. I really think that everyone form the gaffer down to the kit guy are tighter than a duck's butt right now. It freaking shows. We are one or two domino's falling in the right direction away from going on a demon hell ride right up the Prem Table. If just half of our guys who are struggling to find form do so and quit playing so freaking anxiously, we will make magic happen. The way we are playing right now reminds me of a buddy of mine back home. Not a bad looking guy, good sense of humor, but if it was raining [Poor language removed] out, he would be pelted with a cock. Anytime he was getting in good with a bird, he would find some way to screw it up. Painful to watch as he found new and creative ways to [Poor language removed] the bed while trying to close the deal. Kind of like watching us in the last third so far this year. Everyone from the fans to Moyes, to Arteta(who ran like he was trying to carry a corn cob with something other than his hands last night) to Rodwell(who last night played like he was a dim wit who is distracted by shiny objects, even though he is not) just need to relax and play ball. Then the dominoes fall our way and the snides will weep.

Rife with more profanity than I prefer, but had to try to add something. It is go big or go home when trying to add something to a report as comprehensive as yours. I have just been steamed since the draw last night. I watched 2/3 of the match, and something just felt off, like it has most of the year. I gotta be Sam Cooke on this and hope " A Change is Gonna Come".

That's what I'm saying .... Frustration overload !! We have most of the pieces but can't make them fit properly !! Here's to a great 2011 !!! Fingers crossed anyway !!

Those three games in a row, we had massive momentum at that time but threw the points away. If we'd won any one of them we'd have got in Europe. I remember it at the time mate, we just didn't have the killer instinct to put [Poor language removed] teams away, which is exactly the same as now.
