Throw ins

We should just do away with throw ins and replace them with a free punch in the face to one of the opposition.

Stek punched out Joe Ledley tonight, clear as day, good job the ref was awful. I swear I saw cartoon birds flying around his head. A running right hook, jumped into it too, lovely stuff.

Why is there a thread about throw ins?

Amateur hour again for these yesterday. Notable highlights included teeing up De Bruyne to have a free swing, Ashley Williams overhead kicking a clearance and getting about one yard further distance on it, Coleman booked for what the ref must have thought was time wasting but was actually just an inability to take a throw in. Honesty appalling for a professional outfit. Just to note as well that City barely had any issues on any of their throw ins.

I overheard two blokes at a bar saying how boring their lives were and how they could liven them up, hence..................

Do you have a favourite from yesterday?

Booking players for time wasting is utter madness when you have control of the watch that tells you how long there is to play. If someone wastes time and you don't add that time on then you need to book yourself.

The best yesterday was when Coleman got booked for the throw in, then finally took it... City had hit the post less than 5 seconds after the ball left Coleman's hands. Never seen anything like it.

Anybody else notice that Lukaku had a little snooze around the 80-83 minute mark during a throw in yesterday. Coleman threw it straight to him and he basically "woke up" when the defender muscled him out of the way. Coleman had a right go at him not long after that, so much so that the commentator noted it.
