I'm a bit disappointed that its all gone so wrong so quickly for Stevie Me at Villa. I honestly wanted him to do ok there and get himself in the frame for the RS job so he'd have the chance to utterly obliterate them, but that'll probably never happen now. The horrid little skidmark has been shown up for the laughable fraud that he is and there's no way that any credible owner would take a chance on him now. Villa fans deserve this though. The cringeworthy level of adoration they showed to this rat in the early days of his tenure there was enough to destroy possible respect you could have for them. Embarrassing doesn't even begin to cover it. How are you supposed to respect a club and it's fanbase when they clearly have no respect for themselves?

If I was a fan of one of the relegation contenders I would be hoping that Gerrard was going to hang on for as long as possible, because almost guaranteed replacing him early doors in to the season with a manager who has some experience and a bit of a clue and they bob out of relegation contention pretty quickly.
