Went to watch Bolton - Villa last night. Full strength starting 11 for Villa and during the first half they were poor. Bolton keeper was arguably the worst keeper ive ever seen in professional football and conceded direct from a corner, gave a pen away and left an open goal for the rat looking one from France to make it 3 (abysmal goalkeeping). 1-1 half time and Slippy was always going to change it up which Bolton should have countered by putting an extra man in midfield to make them harder to play through. Somehow, Villa did not look like a team two leagues higher but Bolton looked like a team two leagues below. I did enjoy the walk back to the car in amongst the Villa fans, LOADS talking about how we scrapped through last night and that our priorities should be on not going down and of course I had to butt in, the mrs. wasn’t happy but couldn’t resist, telling them they are not very good in no uncertain terms, gerrard is a gob***** and questioning a really skinny Villa fan who was giving it the biggun about the scouse accent as to why his Villa shirt sleeves were rolled up.. UTFT.
