1. You need to actually know what you are talking about. Read your history and learn. It's a fact the Tories have been trying to destroy Merseyside for decades. To deny that means you have zero idea what you are on about.

Anyway second point did I say I want the club to be political? All I'm doing is standing up to right wing Tories and asking how they can support Everton and vote Tory considering the points I've made. Not one person has been able to answer it.

And if I've made people uncomfortable because I'm confronting them then good.

It is perfectly acceptable to vote Tory and support Everton. I can't believe I have to say this. Obviously you have an entrenched view of the evil Tory stereotype or something similar, but it just simply isn't like that. They are a political party that have different ideas about how to run the country than you.

Personally, I think their economic and social policies are more likely to benefit this country and its people than any other party. Simples. And, if recent polls are even remotely close to being correct, the largest proportion of the country thinks the same.

Personally I just like watching political results shows. It's like watching the goals going in on soccer Saturday, only there's no Chris Kamara, and I can sit feeling all smug and intellectual.
