It's true he can be gash most of the time, but he's like Cahill. He can disappear at times, but when he's on form he's brilliant.

I think Dempsey actually prefers to play left mid, so he can cut in on his right foot.
I like Dempsey, though he can be frustrating at times. But he has a habit of scoring big goals.
That being said, there are many other players I'd want Everton to sign before Dempsey. I think Fulham's a good fit for him.
