Underated Keeper, better than Gerard, Simonssen, but the big fella boots were a tough act to follow.

Major falt of Thomas? He was blind as a bat!! wore contacts, would loose a few as well apparently

I heard the same about George Wood,apparently Arsenal couldn't believe Georgie wore contacts when they signed him from us!!!

he played well for a while. I always remember an unbelievable save from nathan blake when we beat bolton 3-2...ferguson's only hat-trick and first game as captain.

Gerrard had a decent start and then went on to be the worst keeper i have ever seen in an everton jersey

One for old timers here...the worst goalkeeper I ever saw playing for Everton was the late Harry Leyland. On one famous occasion, probably 50 years ago or more, there was absolute mayhem in our penalty box from a corner, shots flying, off the post bodies flying everywhere, and Harry, bless him was strolling around ,eyes to the ground, looking for his cap.

Yes, I was just about to post the same thing. Still stands out in my mind as one of the best saves I've seen at Goodison.
