Liked Carsley a lot more. Except when he broke Tim's leg, that wasn't cool.
He didn’t break Tim’s leg, but he put him out of the game for a few weeks, then a few minutes later nearly did the same to Alan Stubbs, who looked at him as if to say ‘ You are playing for us you know’.
 
It's just a shame the best midfielder in England at the time couldn't replicate that form in Spain. He might not have found himself playing in Scotland 1 year later.
You quote a different period in his history. As he pointed out, new manager did not think he fitted..end of for him over there. He was brilliant for us that last half season, brilliant
 

I attended nearly every game that season, fella. Not sure why that's relevant though. I just realise that in a league with the likes of Lampard, Viera and Gerrard that Thomas Gravesen was not the best at any period of time. A few months of good form is all it was.
OK then. He was as good as anyone that season, and he was in my opinion.
 

Would make a great assistant to Duncan.

Would you wanna go in the dressing room with those two after a lacklustre display?
