Player Valuation: £8m
reading some of the threads on here, and other forums, i have come to realise just how important this summer is. not just to the club ,but to the supporters as well. debates about who we may be able to afford, who will leave, people wanting.begging BK and the board to leave, some hoping he will stay,(?).

yet i cannot see ONE positive comment from the club anywhere, nothing about players in,out. nothing about finance, the silence is deafening. there are "rumours" aplenty, yet nothing of substance. the usually media savvy chairman has been in hiding for a while, leading me to think he has misread the fans unease. this is the time we need some positive leadership( i know, he has never done that before)and phils pointing finger or soundbites are not whats needed.

to me, this is a sign of another missed opportunity, no investment, more bargain basement hopefuls, another summer of watching teams with lesser appeal spend more and attract the players we would love to see in a blue shirt.
its getting like groundhog day .

If we can manage to play as well as we have been the past 2 months then we'll be able to hang with the top 4 if we only say lose 1 player and have 1-2 good signings.

You might be able to snag 4th with 8-10 losses. Spurs are on their way down, Liverpool should be better, there is a possibilty that Chelsea could have a season like Liverpool is having now.

Every season is important in a fans eyes, we will do what we can no doubt.

Begining to think it may be best to let Billy move on, just not happening for him and im begining to think it wont.

We say this every year though. The truth is we don't play like that until the pressures gone and we're too far behind for it to matter.

I agree that if Moyes can get us playing the way we do in spring for the entire seaosn than this squad is good enough but he hasn't shown that he can which is why we need to change things. I want Round replaced by someone with more experience to be honest, and I want players in who can cope with the expectation of having to win against ten men behind the ball.

The only good news is that Fellaini wants to stay and our other decent players are on long contracts.

Money wise - well how much will we get for Yak, Yobo and vaughan? Thats how much Moyes will have to spend.

One of the things I have mixed feelings about is the predictability of who will be on the first team sheet when we have a fully fit squad. I think one of the reasons why we are going through a good spell is that teams aren't as familiar with who they are playing against(also Osman has stepped up and seems to have a big desire to get on the ball and try to make things happen).
