This is Fecking Outrageous

My comment seems to have been taken off.

All I did was ask him if he had any quotes that actually mentioned Heysel form Moyes, obviously as proof that he does indeed bring it up on a consistent basis.

Paul Jones. Your bitter and twisted rant does nothing but disrespect football supporters everywhere. I see no point in getting into any kind of discussion with a pillock like you, however as you claim to be talking about dignity may I simply remind you of a great old saying.

'Sir, I cannot agree with what you say but I will defend your right to say it'.

That dear boy is dignity. Run along now.

Absurd article, and actually more like an essay, except it's packed with assertions rather than arguments. I loved the way he apportioned blame for Heysal equally to half a dozen separate outfits. Of course it wasn't a few lunatic Liverpool fans' fault for the disaster. How were they to know that a wall would collapse when they were busy chucking bricks and charging opposing supporters?

Oh yeah, and he accusing Moyes of using the death of 39 innocent (never remembered at Anfield) supporters to make a point, then goes onto use the death of 39 innocent supporters to make his point. What a wretch.

moyes clearly has more dignity and class in 1 little finger than the whole of the liverpool team combined.

paul jones , your clearly scum , a joke of a man and your comments are nonsense . its not evertons fault you have blood on your clubs hands you bitter twisted glory hunting pathetic excuse for a person.

laughable isnt the word.

My reply (dunno if it'll get through moderation):

Wow.

This article just shows how much it pains a lot of Liverpool fans when Everton get even CLOSE to a little success. The same bile was frequently spouted the season Everton finished 4th.

And yet Liverpool claim to not be "bothered" about their neighbours, and claim that WE are the "bitter" ones.

Hmmmm.

PS. Good to see a few "proper" Liverpool fans in the comments disavowing and disowning this nonsense.

SO this guy's rant is basically following on from this quote from Moyes;

"Everton should be in this position. There have been many years when the fans were used to winning leagues and cups, but all that was taken away from them by other reasons."

Not sure about anypne else, but how does 'other reasons' immediately equate to some back-handed snipe about Heysel?!...

For my 2 cents, I'm more inclined to think Moyes could just as easily be referring to the emergence of the Sky 4 (which he even goes on to mention), Champion's League causing a clearly disproportionate spreading of prize money as well as major foreign backers coming in and bank-rolling more than half the teams in the league.

This narrow minded prat's jumping to conclusions that fit his own little agenda.

I suppose Rafael was full of dignity and class when he came out and called us a small club and complained about tactics employed by Moyes in games against the reds - comments that have had more of an affect on the supposedly increasingly 'venomous' nature of our derbies.

Have to laugh really. This guy just obviously has a huge chip on his shoulder for Everton football club, and will take any quote and perform his semantic gymnastics and try and figure out how it is insulting Liverpool.

Typical self-obsessed Kopite [Poor language removed] to be honest. We see it all the time.

But we're the bitter ones, remember.

A lot of these people crawled out from under their stones over the past week or so.

Man Utd are their 'real rivals', though.

Yeah, fcuking right.

I love the way we are called bitter and obsessed by fans that believe the media regularly conspires against them in order to do Liverpool down at the expense of United.

They're masters of this black art. In reality they get the best press and general media coverage of any club. In the 80s when they were winning the Championship it was all: 'that Manc media hates us. Tony Wilson cant fcuking stand us and so Granada dont give us credit'. Completely deluded. They're like nazis rambling on about the Protocols of the Elders of Zion and a world Jewish conspiracy.

It makes me sick. Half the pundits are Liverpool fans, yet the numbskulls still see conspiracy at every turn.

An upset Red with nothing better else to do with there time... Treat it with the contempt it deserves, and move on!:dodgy:
