On the one hand he doesnt look good enough and on the other the service to him is shockingly poor.

Shearer, Yeboah and others used to score 30 yarders. We dont see forwards doing that anymore and rarely make goals themselves.

Its all about service thesedays and even then how many top centre forwards are even attainable if we had £70mil for one?

At 6'5 were using Grealish and Ndiaye wide who arent known for putting in crosses to a big CF. We need to be throwing in crosses from the line for him but we dont play that way.

Its hard to see much of a difference if we had someone else up top.

It’s not really about scoring 30 yarders etc. What concerns me about him is stuff like early in the second half when he was given the ball about 30 yards out with only the keeper in front of him and just never at any point looked like he would get a shot away. He just doesn’t look comfortable in those situations which really isn’t a great sign.

A few of our younger players look devoid of confidence.

I'd settle for him hitting a shot from 3 yards out and testing the keeper. He's a complete weakling, which is why he's not getting chances.

No strength. No movement. No speed. He's atrocious.

They do but there’s more to it than that. He just hasn’t really shown the sort of speed/strength/skill that makes you think he’s a proper talent. I’m absolutely not writing him off but it’s worrying that he still just looks extremely ordinary in almost every aspect of his play.
 
Beto went to control the ball with his chest and the ball went 5 yards above his head. Hopeless player who we need to cut our losses on.

Barry isn't good enough either at this point in time but it would be easier for him if there a more experienced striker to take the heat off.

He has missed open goals from two yards out. Never mind Shearer and Yaboah
 

An absolute yard dog. Showing his lack of ability as seen from his last few seasons in pub leagues before a one-off 10 goals in La Liga (mostly mishits). Sell in January for whatever we can get for him. This is on Moyes

Honestly I think it's absolute nonsense about the service being poor. Just a bad excuse for a player that is nowhere near the level we need. The service looks poor because he can't do anything well. Best case scenario is he controls a simple pass and lays it back into midfield.
