A few minutes before that there was a high bouncing ball that he should've been fighting for, but was nowhere near it and left it to one of the midfielders to fight.
Earlier there'd been a situation like that with Beto, but Beto had been working hard for 60+ minutes at that point and had just tracked back to the defensive third. So it was forgivable that he was nowhere near it.
Barry'd been on the pitch for maybe a couple minutes at that point and hadn't just made a sprint back to the defensive third. At that moment I knew nothing good was coming from him today, and after he didn't make the incredibly obvious run to the far post I wanted him taken off. If he'd made the wrong run, I could shrug it off, but not making any run? Pathetic and inexcusable.
Sack the head of recruitment imo.
