2025/26 Thierno Barry

Did anyone see at the end when the final whistle went he just walked off into the tunnel, when all the other players were on the pitch
The lad Messed up, he knows it. He got the reaction today that he knew was headed his way.
heading down the tunnel was probably more down to respecting his teammates in there moment of glory.

Not trying to cover the lads mistake, but some things are probably more obvious to see when you're not just looking for another fault..

It will be interesting to see how he reacts going forward, will he sulk or will he look to defy his critics.

I don’t think the silence from all parties throughout the week has helped matters at all, maybe an interview with him or clarification of the situation earlier might have helped from a PR perspective. Leaving it till one of Fridays last press conferences questions for the manager wasnt a good move imo.

If people want to boo Thats up to them and their entitled to it, personally I would not but each is own. What is jarring is seeing people slag fellow fans off on social media for doing it who were there, why didn’t they tell them at the ground if they feel so upset about it.

Not shown anything yet in his character that suggests he will come out fighting and proving his worth. Not bothered about his feelings or whether he feels unfairly criticised, I’m more worried about our investment.

Even before last week, he’d been firmly benched by Beto, who wasn’t even doing anything special other than working hard.

He really really needs to come on for his customary 25 mins and score a winner in a tight game. Honestly can’t see how he pulls it back either from the fans point of view, and also in his own head.

Whether he should or shouldn’t be booed is a personal choice!

Reports of his demise and leaving in the summer are premature…

End of the day McNeil has shown there is away back…but he has to do what McNeil has done.

Put a shift in, look like it matters to you…and when you get the chance take it! McNeil looks reborn…Barry can too

If he and its a big if…wants it

If the fans were angry enough to 'Boo' Thierno Barry over his Social Media comments, then that's fair enough. But hopefully they've now got it out of their system, and everyone can move forward and concentrate on what's good for Everton... getting behind all our players to help the push for Europe.
Definitely.

The only boos I want to hear at our next home game are the ones for the team in red.
