Moyes is treating him like he's never played above league 2.

He's scored 11 goals in La Liga. Just play the guy.

Our reluctance - and this seems to be a long term thing with this club - to just play new signings is infuriating. Like you say, you'd think he's a 15 year old prodigy we've unearthed from Uzbekistan. He's shown himself to be very capable so let's give him a go.

We seem to have some weird 2 month bedding in period for so many players. I don't expect them all to come in flying but if he doesn't start Sunday I have serious questions, after Betos "performance".

He surely can't start Beto again on Sunday.....can he?

I thought Beto was the worst player on the pitch last night, no effort, no snide, not even a push or shove to upset people.

Exciting prospect, able to get at the moment, could take a while to settle and get a tune out of him in the prem.

Same as Chermitti.

I mean, if anyone saw him in preseason you can tell he's not ready.

I trust Moyes with this kid. If he'd thrown him in and he'd played like Beto there'd be loads screaming not good enough. Beto blows hot and cold, he strikes me as the kind of fella who'll know he had a stinker and want to do better next time out.

If the rumours of his being a work in progress, raw in training etc are true then it's a massive question mark over the recruitment team....

You can't be spending a big chunk of the budget on someone without proper scouting.....

He is incredibly raw: looked it on YouTube, looked at it in the U21 Euros, looked it for us in pre-season.

It was completely obvious.

Exactly he was bought as a project the price has little to do with it, he needs time to grow and adapt. This is my fear with Dibiling if we buy him people will be screaming for him and judging him based on his price tag, when he still needs patience
