Maybe its just me but I don't watch this game and think Barry is remotely the issue tbh

He isnt, problem is the people complaining about him made up their minds about him after about 3 games.

Now their just desperate to be proven right.

The lad could break Dixie deans record and then have one bad game and the same people will be in this thread going "see i told you all he was rubbish" "hes not premier league standard" "need to get rid"

hes our top goal scorer with sod all chances. Hes on 5 if he can get to double digits hes done fantastic in his first season in the PL.

At the minute hes averaging around 1 shot per game. Which means most games hes scored hes had to have a 100% conversion rate.

We literally create nothing for our strikers and yet people expect haarland level performances of the lad.

I definitely think there's more to it when it comes to creating chances for the strikers. Part of being a top number 9 is getting into the positions so players can find you and I think Barry struggles with that. We had a lot of the game today and he didn't really look like having any impact on it.

Both him and Beto struggle a lot on the ball which doesn't help our attack. We'd be in a better place if we had someone else as the main striker with Barry as back up.

He’s raw, but he has the attributes. But he really needs to work on his control and hold up play.

A fair view this. He has lots of attributes but not the finished article. Punting Beto for a more complete striker would give him time to develop, which he's showing signs of doing.

I think people don't take into consideration how the onus is also on the forward when it comes to creating chances. Movement, anticipation and being able to get the better of the defender is key - Barry struggles with this.

We dominated the game in the 2nd half and he barely got a kick. Very naive to think it's just down to the team and nothing to do with the individual player.

He actually makes decent runs but he has no space, which will happen as we have very little width in our set up. Yes he could effect the game more but being alone striker at Everton must be grim

He is doing much better at his flat track bully runs. Put on a bit more muscle and add core strength and I can see him becoming a better counter attacking threat.
