2025/26 Thierno Barry

Hard not to love this guy. Comes across very well as a personality and has the mentality to be a success here imo.

Puts stuff in perspective as well hearing him say he's only played as a striker for the last 2 seasons. I think he will keep on improving the more he plays.
Seems to be very tough mentally because of the hard journey he's had so far to make it. Many footballers, especially forwards, in this day and age can't take any criticism whatsoever without melting down. Whereas some use it as fuel.

I remember when he missed that sitter up and Sunderland and then thr cameras focused in on him looking P'd off on the bench after being subbed. The next day he changed his profile picture on his socials to a still of that shot. For me that was a good reaction from a young lad, showed he wasn't precious about himself and knew he had to hit back. The exact sort of temperament Evertonians love from a player. Be your own biggest critic but at the same time back yourself!

Did well that second half. Some decent link up play with KDH. That first shot we had, garners pass to him was way overhit but he managed to flick it on to our player still.

Should have had an assist for KDH as well.

Thought he was poor in his hold up play today. Didn't trouble them much at all. His finishing of chances has improved but he really needs to be better at imposing himself on opposition defenses because he just seems too easy to deal with at times.
