Maybe he is having a purple patch and might not last but he is scoring different types of goals than Beto did this time last year.

Seen just about every finish on both feet from Barry except outside the box which is promising.

I don't like him as a player.

He is gutless and backs out of challenges.

Great finisher and good at flick ons but useless at battling defenders and holding the ball up.

What a quality finish, and actually running in front of his defender to do it, which has been a recurring issue for him. I really hope he turns into a class forward for us.

Helped that Gana crossed it in early which we don't do enough of.

He can finish the difficult chances he gets, just needs to work on the rest of his game. He’s confident now so Hopefully can work on the other bits of his game

The DCL stat before the game was an eye opener. Scored more already this season for Leeds, than he had in any of his last four seasons with us. That may have something to do with us being managed by dinosaurs who play anti football.

It’s a thankless task being an Everton striker in recent years. Horribly isolated up top on your own, and expected to create your own half chances.

Barry is doing very well all things considered. You wouldn’t swap him for 60 million Gyokeres would you?

Guess we will have to just be glad of the finishing and feed him chances, hope his all round game improves.

He does look horrendously uncoordinated when on a bit of a break dribbling at the last defender. It like he knows he should take them on, but genuinely scared he will fall over.

Cracking finish today though. More confident he gets, might get a bit more arrogance and aggression out of him.

Thought DCL was miles ahead of him in touch, hold up play, winning balls and bringing others into the game. That said, outside of the foot shot and finish for the goal were two moments of quality.

His overall game outside the box clearly needs work.

But inside the box, looks to be really improving, with some great finishes.

Plenty to work with…
