But you wont see the DCL lovers back in here for a bit, they seem to have shrunk into the shadows as expected. Im sure they will be out again for a couple weeks later in the season.

At the risk of getting pelters, I’m starting to see a player in Barry. Some of his lay offs and hold up have improved massively! Great finish for the goal. He’s not the finished article but he’s well on his way!

Been doing that since he arrived. Just look at the Brighton game.

Difference is his goal won us the game. Very rare for a striker to score AND we win.

We draw or lose and the comments in here would be so different regardless of how solid his game was.

To Blues fans "sat on the fence" regards Barry's Prem ability. Watch the game today v Villa and WATCH his movement and control. I said on this forum as a former pro player even after his first game, that he would'nt make it in this league. And I'm sticking with this view.

I really liked DCL. I also really like Barry.

Very different players though. Barry is a better finisher. Wins the balls well in the air and gets the headers usually to our players. But not great when he has time on the ball at his feet when he is away from goal.

DCL good at holding it up and keeping it under control. Also good at poaching and making runs at the 6 yard box.

Glad both are currently doing well (but hope DCL does rubbish next game)
