There's no fairness in your striker not turning up. I can't remember anything tonight other than once he took a couple of touches and passed to someone. He could present himself in space and look to do something. At least Beto is prepared to look like an absolute tit in having a go. He gets more out of his battling. And for that players pass to him more. Haaland would have done much much much better.
Having said all this I'd still be giving Barry first half, Beto second. Only bc Beto plays better coming on.

Really don't rate him. Still prefer Beto.
Both aren't good enough but at least Beto throws his weight around at times. This lad just doesnt have the fight or quality.
Played quite well in a handful of games all season. Very poor signing up to this point. The Wolves striker troubled our centre backs far more than Barry troubled theirs and no one can argue Wolves have quality.

Seems to whine a lot also when (as happens a lot) the ball doesn’t bounce in his favour. Self pity probably isn’t endearing himself to his teammates.

He was anonymous and struggled to win any headers, albeit he was marked by several of their defenders but he just doesn't put himself about near enough to make it more difficult for defenders and he doesn't really make himself available for a pass and just sort of waits.
Another notch on the Everton post of awful strikers. He's never going to amount to anything unfortunately.
He has no technical ability. A perfect example was his Forest Gump run down the left, followed by smashing the ball out of play. He's that bad, we as fans show pity.
Could tolerate slow progress as he’s young and come from abroad etc, but last night looked like his acclimatisation was going backwards, possibly his worst performance for me.
Hopefully just one of those nights for him, but patience is wearing thin.
