I think he's proven the past couple of weeks that he's got the capacity to learn. In addition, it's moments like a first goal that can make a player.

I'm excited to see if the progress continues. Not expecting him to slot away to Chelsea - one of the tougher places to go - but can you imagine if he does? LIMBS!

Thats the thing now, can he do it again and not take another 6 games. The next 2 are really difficult games, then it's Burnley away I think. You don't want your striker only grabbing a goal every 6 games, but one every 3 would be a decent return if he can find that kind of form.

I really worry about that shoulder dislocating though and how thats been happening during innocuous challenges. That's going to need looking at.

He’s bang average at best, as soon as we can replace him we need too. We are not in a position to give someone a season or two to grow into a position. He looks like a nice lad but we’ve sold much better players to progress. We need to take our chances while we can.

Yes he needs to covert his chamces now - & that goal may do that - if not I agree with you ....

Yes that CH knocked 7 bells out of him - Beto could handle the physicality of him when coming on late on - he was a big brute - yard dog yeats style too.. good job he had an eye for an own goal though

Far better we sign the likes of Tosun/ Maupay etc than develop players.

If I was on £45k a week and a good contract, struggling, to find my feet in freezing wet rain, gales and ice of the winter months AND being " hit" by burly defenders "I'd stay down and fien for a stretcher!
