It seems that things are starting to drop with him, areas he needs to get into , runs he needs to make, certainly the effort is there. I think he’ll be better next season , whether we can wait longer than January is doubtful so he desperately needs to score a couple of goals.

Stealing a line off @Zatara, he’s technically efficient. I won’t claim he’ll be our most technically gifted ever forward but I do think that’s a strength.

Seems fairly obvious to keep Barry, get rid of Beto and replace him with a good striker

Why fairly obvious? £27m + wages for a main striker who can't score and probably won't get 5 goals all season as he's no chance as a striker to even take a penalty.

In fairness he’s been in unbelievable goal scoring positions against Palace, Sunderland, and Fulham. The first two he fluffs and the third one Ndiaye is offside but he could easily be on three or four goals right now. If he gets a bit of confidence those chances could start going in. I’d be more worried if he was nowhere near getting changed but he’s almost getting a gilt edged chance per game.

He’s getting better which is a massive plus. No idea whether it will all work out in the long run but he undoubtedly looks likes he’s learning and improving.

What actions? I like that he was disappointed going off. You shouldn't be happy being subbed unless you're hanging out. He did nothing disrespectful and who knows what he was thinking.
