No- but he ran near to the goal on a couple of occasions. He’s on course for a shot on target before Christmas, and hopefully a first goal by Easter. Our recruitment team must be really pleased with another outstanding piece of work.

Honestly it's how low my expectations are with both him and Beto. If they stay upright I'm chuffed

I mean its a start. Who knows, come jan/feb time he may well have a shot at goal lol.

Lack of goal threat is not entirely his fault when our midfielders are clearly not supplying him with chances. He is making good runs behind the defence which is encouraging.
Late in the game he was making a run behind spurs defence screaming for a simple throw in which will put him in a one on one with keeper but Gana totally ignore him.

Here is a thought.. give him whole games instead of sub appearances. And see what he's actually capable of given a proper chance

I think Alcaraz is pivotal to the strikers getting chances. Alcaraz can thread the ball through the eye of a needle for the strikers to run on to. We’ve seen it already. Beto played his best football with Alcaraz behind him.

I’d like to see Alcaraz doing the same for Barry to see what he can do when he’s actually being provided with opportunities to run on to.

The Grealish-KDH-Ndiaye trio are simply not creating enough for either striker. Alcaraz HAS to start being given more opportunities in the central attacking midfield role.

I’m trying to see something good in him. I just think it’s too quick and physical for the lad. He’s struggling for sure!
