Thing that’s really standing out to me is that he’s not even attempting to challenge Van Hecke for it on a number of occasions. Stepping in front of him and winning the ball uncontested too often. Can see Moyes raging about that.

Only time he’s held it up well, we scored.

Yeah, he’s looking to spin in behind but it’s never been on - he’s got to challenge for the ball.

Service to him has been terrible, like any striker who’s played for us over recent seasons. Moyes just wants a big target man up there to play off, that’s it.

Difficult for him out there today...similar to beto last week. Not sure if he is 100% to blame here. We are not really playing good balls to him. We need garner in midfield ASAP.

You're probably right but I feel like everybody says that about every striker.

What setup actually would work for a striker of ours and can we play that way, please?
