Fellaini will make a few people look very foolish next season.

The clue to the lads ability is how well he can handle difficult balls and how comfortable the lad is on the ball.

Give him time mate. He's starting to look aceual.

I am giving him time, I've got over the fact that he's not a dominant midfielder and accepting him for what he is: A talented second striker.

Is he better than Cahill? I don't think so, not now anyway. We buy a centre midfielder to compliment Arteta (the main man) and Fellaini can develop under Cahill's wing.

It all makes sense.

Peter Crouch does that.

Lets play him centre midfield, it'll work.

Not.

Sorry, my bashing switch flicked on, I can't help it.

Moyes described Fellaini more of a Cahill than a Carsley.

If you was asked to describe Cahills attributes, would tackling be one of them?

Moyes has said himself that he's going to try and develop him into a central midfielder.

Agreed on the Cahill thing though, its going to be interesting next year when Yakubu is back as Im presuming Cahill will get the nod in that position.

Strangely, Fellaini is a better support striker than Cahill.

Cahill is tenacious, hardworking, mobile, capable of mixing it and has proven he can tackle over the last few games. The only thing he's lacked (as a midfielder) is the right partner and a bit of disipline.

Fellaini is laid back, languid, isn't a workhorse and can't tackle to save his life. I honestly don't think I've ever seen him attempt a slide tackle.

What Fellaini is good at is holding the ball up, winning headers and linking things together with intelligent touches and bits of play. I think a bit of realism is needed to be honest, that is his position and it suits him.

People trying to make him into something he isn't, just let him play to his strengths and develop in the role that he is obviously suited too. Not Moyes is going to work a miracle and turn him into a Vieira when it's quite clear they are completely different.

Peace and Love.

We'll see Toxteth, we'll see.

Fans of other clubs have described him as one of the signings of the season.

He can be as laid back (I would call it composed), and as languid as he likes if he scores 8 goals in 20 odd games. Impressive for a young foreign lads first Premiership season...

Lets just wait and see. He's made a good impact I think, the MOTM thread demonstrates that.

Did you actually read my posts?

I've praised him and I think he is a good player in the position Moyes is using him in at the moment. He's made an impact and he's done well, long may it continue.

I'm not going to lie and pretend he's looked boss in midfield, the fact of the matter is he's looked out of his depth and distinctly average when he's played there. I'm just being realistic, judging on what I see.

The MOTM wins and others fans opinions mean nothing to me to be honest. Other fans see him on "Match of the Day", I'd rather listen to people who see him for full games or week in week out.
