He hasnt lost his pace, he's just crap.

Its not gone but he hasnt got that explosive pace he had that scared defenders.
His whole career seems to have been where do you play him. Wide or up the middle. Never really stamped either of them.

I'd rather keep him. He's getting a slagging now based on a cameo in a game where we were under the cosh a bit (despite being 4-1 up) so he was on a hiding to nothing. Decent squad player who is still capable of fulfilling a role imo.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he forgoes some of his wages to get back down south, I’m sure he’s not struggling for money and if Southampton pay 50% we maybe paying less than that and him accepting that to be ‘home’
