Will say that should have been a pen when he was pulled back and off balance. Should not have needed VAR if ref did his job. Strikes me more and more refs are not making decisions but leaving it to the videos. Very much a step in the wrong direction.
Never liked him even when at Arsenal always thought he was overrated his end product was to me always dodgie, never wanted us to sign him.

Doesn’t need to be theatric - and should have been a pen regardless, but tossing himself on the floor with a couple of commandos would have sold that so much better.
He’s honest which is admirable but doesn’t win you penalties.
