He is rubbish. He was underwhelming during his years at Arsenal (when whatever their defensive frailties, the had a strong attacking side). I've yet to see much evidence of his pace and his control is awful. He had a chance in the first half (that luckily for him was eventually flagged offside) that came back out to him from a corner/cross at 18 yards out and he mis-controlled it and it ended up behind him. He did the same thing on the right hand side in the second half. His first touch for the chance that Czech saved was poor but, even then, he should have had the presence of mind to lift it over Czech's leg. He's like a rabbit in the headlights whenever he gets near goal. Just like DCL he has a negative effect on the team, give the ball to him and the attack is as good as over!

I've not been impressed with Theo. He didn't impress at Arsenal either really. A lot of running about to little purpose.

This is exactly the problem. We all trick ourselves into believing these players are good enough but in actual fact they´re just not up to the standard.

The fact is we need to break the cycle somehow and bring in quality players. Richarlison looks like being that type of player, early days granted.

Richarlison is quality. defo. Digne looks a good buy too.

How anyone still has faith in the likes of Tosun and DCL I have no idea. WTF do they see?
