2017/18 Theo Walcott

The problem with Walcott and Siggurdson is the excuses made for them. They’re seasoned pro’s who are supposed to be at the top of their game. If things aren’t going right for them their skill set is supposed to change the game. They don’t, they hide rather trying to influence the game

Theo is not as bad as I expected, but he’s not as good as people made out. At a top team his weaknesses are hidden, at us they’re glaringly obvious

No service to him. In space of 2 mins i watched him come short, available and free and Jags hoofed the ball up front to no one in particular. Then he made a run in behind and needed good quick ball. Snides didnt have confidence to go for pass and played it sideways.

He’s been Allardyced. Any thought to himself of being a free spirit and go for it are not only stifled but kin strangled. He has no chance under him to excel. In fairness to him for me he is a class above what we have here

Think he’s too used to being at Arsenal. A team that dominate possession and pass the ball around for fun. In our team he’ll have to learn to hunt down the ball and work harder to find himself in space.

That theory would work if he wasn’t as equally as bad for Arsenal...

He’s just not a good player.

Obviously used to playing in quality teams, but yeah it’s not looking good. In fact it’s all going a bit Schneiderlin.

The FF full English breakfasts are having their intended effect: he is becoming 'Evertonised' ( a process whereby good players become bog average). But our lads always put on a good Blue Chrimbo for the local community...which, us being a family club and all, is by far the most important thing....who can ever forget Theo dressed as a blue elf, and Capt Jags' Santa...)

...love Everton
