..when the ball is on the other side of the pitch, he hits the box. It’s not much to ask of a wide player, it’s what they do if they want to score goals. Have a look if Bolasie is in a goalscoring pisition when Walcott has the ball out wide.

Very true Eggs
Also notice teams think twice before pushing their defence up the field.
He gives us a very different option , the hard part is getting some more players of his ilk to bring the best out of him.
Quality signing.

..and that’s exactly what we keep talking about when we mention ‘strategy’. It’s about having a vision and buying players that fit it rather than just buying players.

Made up to be wrong. Tbh, it shows the gulf between us and the top 6 teams that a player who was surplus to requirements at one of those clubs can arrive here and stand out as such a class act. We've got a long, long way to go but Walcott has been a great addition.

How good are the rest of the Arsenal team when he looked like the least technical player in their team

You're right about the gulf between us and the top 6.

All about opinions but I don't see Walcott as a failure at Arsenal. I see Wenger as a shadow of his former self, who makes mistakes with players and we were lucky enough to profit from it.

I still think he would get in the Arsenal team as he is streets ahead of Iwobi but it's their loss and our gain.

Been great think he is are major goal threat attacking wasnt expecting him to be this good thought he wall all pace but so much more

Exactly my thoughts. Walcott's control of a football wasn't something he was exactly lauded for in Arsenal colours but it stands out massively with us.

It's a bit like when an 42 year old eto signed. Looked finished at Chelsea but when he came here his technique stood out like dogs balls. I managed to get to goodison for the Wolfsburg game and his control and strength before setting mirralas away for his goal was top quality.
