Shocking when you think we spend that and are at a place where Moyes had us regular when we didnt spend anything, how Walsh gets away away with this i dont know
Thing is, all the other teams weren’t spending either so it is the same situation really. Everyone has cash now and six have a lot more.

If we stop signing random players and trying to fit them into the team and build a squad to play to Walcott and Sigurdsons strengths we would be so much better. Those two are a different class to everything else we have in attack.
If we had someone in the midfield who could move the ball forward quickly and effectively then it would only further improve their game.

Rooney playing deeper is currently probably the closest we've got to this role, but in the mainstay our midfield lacks tempo and creativity.

Imagine Theo's movement, which compared to what we're use to is sublime, being met with a precision ball or him allowed to get behind teams.

The same goes for Gylfi as well to be fair; in fact, I'm imaging all the silky one-twos and back heels right now as I type this.

Nobody will agree, but feel free to vault me next year, Walcott will suffer if we bring in someone like Fonseca who prefers the "Barca-lite" approach

He's been great so far, but getting the best out of him will be difficult with a tiki-taka-type style

Say it again, so impressed with the lad, professional, quick, forward thinking, long may it continue. We need to sign more players with this mentality and ship out the players that were or are too used to losing, particularly big game mentality. Jags, Baines, Williams, Bolassie etc
