According to Matt Let Tizz, Theo had told Southampton he wanted to go back there until Everton offered him a deal Southampton couldn't match.

Thats the gist of what I caught.

He was good. Be great if we actually got the ball into his feet to give him the best chance to turn and run at people. I’d have gone with him in a two with Niasse toward the end but then I’m a weirdo who thinks that you should play more than one lad up front to score goals.

Impreesed me today with his work rate a lot better than i expected. He ended up on our left side after one of our attacks failed (again) and he marked their right winger and pointed to the clown to hurry up back and get in his rightful position .Well done today Theo.

Was in a different dimension compared to the rest of our players in terms of speed. Not sure about his ability yet - but he looked more like an athletic professional at the height of his physical fitness far more than any of other players have this season. Hope he enjoys being a star in a worse team rather than the other way around.

Yeah I agree, his defensive awareness was good today and it surprised me having never really watched him before.

Some of his touches were a class above. Just need time for him, Sig and Cenk to gel.
