As ever, with western governments, it will come down to whether he can keep his departments on track, free of having to firefight other self-inflicted issues, deal with the unplanned crises as they happen etc.

Agree, he's appointing people with grudges, people with complete opposed views to the departments he's appointed them too - Gabbard and Gaetz, he'll have to prioritise stuff my guess is he's gonna throw everything he can at the wall and give in on the ones that don't matter to push through his real agenda

His ideologically focussed appointments, trying to make cost-cutting, or MAGA-friendly, or media-influencing decisions in a department where the experienced administrators in the room point out the problems, or infeasibility, or illegality of those decisions.

That will be played out in the media as obstruction, or evidence of deep state interference.

Indeed, as we've seen here, many undocumented individuals are likely to be victims of crime, but don't wish to report those crimes because the police shop them to immigration authorities. What a great society.

CRIME RATES among illegal immigrants are 100%. They commit a crime by entering the country illegally hence the word ILLEGAL.
