100% he'll threaten Egypt etc to fund a rebuild of Gaza with some empty threats.

Would be funny if he sanctioned it's funding by Americans

I doubt very much it is about temporary rehousing but the context here really is key. At this point it's fair to say America hates Palestine and stand with Israel no matter who is running the country. However the last leader wanted Israel to murder them, the new one wants to simply move them. Neither are right and my heart really does go out to them knowing just how little support they have. It's their country and they should really have the world's backing , but that is another talking point in another thread.

Either way context is , one president wanted to murder them all, the other doesn't? At some point , in an empty hollow way, trump is the more humane of the two! Only if you accept the fact that America clearly will never allow Palestine to be free of Israel.
Mate, they are still murdering them, this time in the West Bank - it just isnt reported. Also, rest assured, at some point VERY SOON, they will start the slaughter again, under the guise of some kids throwing stones or similar and with the full backing of Trunk, he won't even bother to condemn it like Biden pretended to.

As for your ' moving them ' theory - they aint for moving so murdering them it will be.

And finally, it was your man in his last disastrous tenure as POTUS that cosied up to Bibi so hard that he knew he could do what he wanted and.... here we are staring genocide in the face.

This is very much on the orange Jesus

@davek still think Biden is worse bro?
Aaaargh you have done it now.....

It may not have been USAID but it was the Federal Government. This stops now. Politico can sink or swim on their own.

No, it was USAID. You got that part right.

Politico sells a subscription data service. I've seen it described like Bloomberg terminals for people data, or maybe similar to the type of services that Deloitte offers to businesses in specialized markets. A lot of nonprofits, etc, the sort of agencies that receive funds from USAID use the Politico Pro subscription.

So in one sense you are correct, Federal dollars that go through USAID do in fact end up at Politico. But not for the reason you've implied.

Also, reading is free, especially at free sites like Wikipedia:

Politico Pro

Politico Pro, a B2B subscription service, launched in 2010. With roughly 300 reporters at its disposal, Politico Pro provides in-depth coverage of over a dozen major topic areas. The service charges subscribing businesses by licenses and topic area (verticals), with the costs in the high four figures to high six figures depending on the scope of the subscription. Despite the paywall in place, Politico Pro has a 93% subscription renewal rate, and it provides nearly half of Politico's overall revenue. Access to the Politico.com, Politico Playbook, and its other newsletters remained free of charge.

Interesting that the defenders of the constitution over the next few years won't be hillbillies armed to the teeth, but the "left". The Oath Keepers and the like will just sit still, stroke their beards and nod their heads as King Don the 1st tries to completely take over.
Unbelievable how much power he has now. Everybody loves his Gaza idea eh?..he's surrounded by yes men and unelected "super genius" tech bros. It'd be hilarious if it wasn't so scary.
