Didn't julius ceasar (or similar) purge the senate? Loyalty rewarded, stand against and you're done for. There's no control like total.

Famously he left his enemies alive, as they were able to kill him afterwards.

The Roman republican leaders who purged the upper classes of their time (in the proscriptions) were Sulla and then the second triumvirate of Octavian, Mark Antony and Lepidus.

It's only 5 or 6 weeks away to the Ides of March... can Trumpius Crassius make it to then...

Just coming back to this as I have some whopper on a different forum going on about how Trump has 'won' here.
So I went to the original Truth Social post and sent him the link.

There's no mention if the 10k extra personnel is in addition to what is already planned (I assume the 10k border personnel was the plan anyway)
And the additional $200 mil is being funded by the USA themselves.

So he's spat his dummy out, threatened tariffs and in the end the Canadians are continuing as they had already planned with the only addition being a Fentanyl Czar (which I am SURE is not just a tokenistic position ;) ) and has ended up giving £200m of US money to them on top of it. And somehow he's the winner here?

Art of the Deal indeed...
Same fella seems to be somewhat horrified by the Gaza Strip announcement though… it might be starting to sink in with some now… 🤞

Natalie Bara - FBI Agents Association President:
“One of our agents recently spent hours recovering body parts from the Potomac River, working through the gruesome reality of the recent tragic plane crash. This agent had to return to the office not to debrief, not to work on cases, but to fill out a mandatory survey on any involvement in investigations related to January 6.”

USAID was funding Politico. Yesterday a 'bank glitch' meant Politico employees were not paid. The glitch has now been resolved, no doubt through an emergency injection of funds by a shadowy group or individual.
