I thought this thread would be a good place for healthy adult discussion and debate.

Unfortunately, all I've found is a thread mainly occupied by nasty, childish keyboard warriors who get off on ridiculing anyone not in their bubble.

Managed about 25 mins of that before switching off.

Why he thought bringing a sneering, right wing, culture war grifter like Konstantin Kisin on was in any way good for a balanced talk is a mystery.
His brand is called TRIGGERnometry ffs and the majority of his content follows the template of “Calm spoken Conservative DESTROYS emotional extreme woke lefty”

People like him are part of the reason we’re in this much of a mess in the first place.

Aye I find this frustrating. People say we need to listen to ‘both sides’ etc, but in circumstances such as these, one side is generally full of vacuous and self serving bluster. The whole ‘debate’ only lends to give these grifting cowboys further publicity and gives their ridiculous takes an additional pretence of substance
 
It’s no longer the right vs left debate in any traditional sense. Could argue and disagree with a traditional neo liberal but at least I would have some respect for their position. Now it’s like trying to argue against a fart.
 
If I associate old time California with anything it is a can do attitude. No need for Cal residents to wait 18 months on government clearing their housing lots. As I said previously, this is the death knell for ultra progressive politics in state wide California politics.
